Space Telescope
You can enjoy the true scope of the universe through the immense technology granted through a space telescope. These super powerful telescopes are launched into space and orbit the earth to transmit an incredible range of ultra useful information such as meteorological readouts, planetary movement and much more.
A space telescope is capable of photographing and imaging deep-space and bodies within the solar system. It’s also capable of recording and reporting back on any celestial occurrences. These types of telescopes are controlled from earth by a team of astronomers, astrophysicists, scientists and technicians. They carefully analyze the data and imaging that is recorded and transmitted by these types of telescopes. Essentially, a space telescope is our eye on the universe, keeping us well informed of what goes out there.
This particular type of equipment has a sensitive range of detection, enabling it to pick up on ultraviolet, humanly visible, and near-infrared spectrums. This means that it can see things that we definitely can’t see from the ground. Helping it to do this is the fact that it orbits outside of the earth’s atmosphere. By doing this, this type of telescope can capture images with almost no background light interference. This grants us the most far-reaching visible-light images ever.
Probably the most well-known version of this type of telescope is the colossal Hubble space telescope, measuring approximately 2.4 meters in diameter and possessing a focal length of an impressive 57 meters long. The Hubble telescope orbits the earth every 96 minutes.
